Parent Data Rights
You are in control of your family's data. The sections below describe each right available to you and the fastest way to exercise it.
Review your child's data
You can download a complete JSON copy of every record we hold about any child in your household. It includes the profile, all chore assignments and completions, badges, XP history, reward redemptions, allowance payments, notifications, and the full consent audit log.
In the app: Settings → Child Profiles → select the child → Export Data.
By email: privacy@househeld.app with subject “Data Review — [child name].”
Delete your child's data
Deletion is permanent. It removes the profile and every record associated with the child. Consent audit-log entries are retained (without identifying content) for legal compliance.
In the app: Settings → Child Profiles → select the child → Delete.
By email: privacy@househeld.app with subject “Deletion Request — [child name].” We complete deletion within 30 days.
Withdraw consent
If you no longer want HouseHeld to collect new data about your child, you may withdraw consent. The profile is deactivated immediately. Existing data is retained until you also request deletion.
In the app: Settings → Child Profiles → select the child → Withdraw Consent.
By email: privacy@househeld.app.
Correct inaccurate data
Names, dates of birth, and avatars are editable in the app (Settings → Child Profiles → select the child → Edit). For corrections to records you cannot edit directly (completion history, XP transactions), email us.
By email: privacy@househeld.app.
View the consent audit log
Every consent-related action — granted, withdrawn, exported, deleted, changes to third-party sharing — is recorded in an immutable audit log. You may review the log for any child in your household.
In the app: Settings → Child Profiles → select the child → Consent History.
We respond within [RESPONSE_WINDOW_DAYS] days.
If you have contacted us and have not received a response, escalate to privacy@househeld.app. Under COPPA you also have the right to contact the FTC directly at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
